Appearance: The first thing I noticed straight from the package was the craftsmanship. All I can say is that it was pretty damn fine. Now I am relatively new to the fingerboarding scene so I haven't been exposed to a lot of other decks. But from what I have seen, the deck was good, and I'll leave it at that.
I WAS disappointed though to find that my deck didn't have any ply's dyed or colored, so that left a negative impression. Overall though, I would give the appearance:

Performance: Now what the appearance might have been lacking, the performance more than made up for it. I was blown away when I rode these wheels for the first time; it was incredible. Thankfully, I am not one of those people that freak out over a pair of bearing wheels on video, so you won't see that.
I don't really know what else to say about the deck other than its amazing. Really, that's all I can say.
