What are your opinions? I don't think that Nike SB fits Malto at all. Neither does DC fit Mike Mo. I can't imagine Mike Mo being on any other shoe company than Lakai.

i don't follow skateboarding that much these days.. mo quit lakai? crazy.. guess dc offered him a fuck load more money : o

its all for the money really, the shoes will be designed to fit them i could defo see malto on sb he is like the poster boyu f skating these days..

dc did at one point make sick shoes so im interested to see a mike mo pro model.

i have no thoughts on nyah though

Word, Malto deserves to be on SB with the rest of the dudes on there. He's up there with some of the big boys now! Hope he still keeps the cool personality.

I can see malto on Nike and I definately can't see Mike Mo on DC but I saw that one coming to nijah!

I didn't see Malto getting the offer... He's my favorite skater but I just don't feel like he's as good as half the guys on Nike SB... He has amazing style but he only has a handful of tricks, not a duffel bag like PROD.

P.s. I think PROD looks like a robot when he skate, and Malto looks like a majestic unicorn. Yeah.

woah. I thats lame that malto went to NIKE SB... I had a pair of his etnies pro modles and i loved them. exept the blew out to fast but still a great shoe... I HATE DC. idk why i just hate the way they skate.

Why do people hate on DC so much. I feel like skaters get really butthurt about things like this because they label DC as a sellout team or some bullshit like that. Theres no such thing as selling out. Thats just what 12 year old pissheads call it when their favourite skater isnt underground anymore, and now they have to withstand the agony of having the same favourite skater as someone else.

The skaters will go wherever they feel that they are being supported and given the resources to reach full potential. Mike Mo completely outgrew Lakai. He was WAY to good for the lack of money, coverage, and support he was getting from them. Thats why he moved. Same with Chris Cole, Same with Malto, same with Nyjah.

Imagine being a pro skater for a second, and how annoying it would be being flamed and insulted whenever you progressed or improved or achieved something because your fans think its not cool and that youre selling out.

Good on these guys for going where they will be best treated.

Its not about the skaters it is the shoe in general. They aren't a "core" company anymore. You can get them like EVERYWHERE. So when a LLC or limited liability corporation sponsors core skateboarders it just doesn't fit.

i guess thats true enough, but you cant argue that DC does do a lot for skateboarding. at least theyre involved. plus i absolutely love their shoes.
