Just have fun and make boards for yourself and friends, you don't need to have good equipment for that I bought myself a CNC mold a while back, and tried to make a company. It's a lot of work, and in the end, Ijust gave up and make boards for myself and friends, because nothing else really mattered, I had a ton of veneer and glue, and just wanted to give friends something that reflects on how I feel about them. "In my opinion, there's nothing better than making a board that fits your preference perfectly, and is made exactly how you want it, and with your own hands.

TL;DR, make boards for youself and friends, have fun!

Do you have the supplies too? It might not seem like it, but it takes a lot of work to make a good company. But yeah, it seems like you want to go through with it, so good luck.

Honestly I think you should atleast have the materials first before you start making threads about it.

Ryan.. The 600 threads like this one in the past month have made me realize a thing.. Kids don't listen to negativity. So why don't we let them try and fail? I think it will have a better effect when they realize they have wasted enough money to buy the two Berlinwoods they wanted.

Dude, make some decks for fun, post pictures on here so we can see your progress, if they actually become really good, people will be begging to buy them and that's when you make a company, if it happens

Buy veneer from me
You'd be better off finding a machinest and having them drill them perfectly
Use a fine sanding sponge for sanding 220-350)
Get a disk/belt sander
And most importantly have fun

I jsut read that mold making method! Seems super awesome. And yes If you cant find veneer from a local carpenter or lumber yard you are going to have to buy it online.!

making decks is hardwork trust me.

and hwy are you taking advice from Melvin on deck making he uses welding glue lo.

Only take advice from great deck makers
I have actual used that method^
It works well but getting it Semetrical is hard
I bet you $20 it takes atleast a can and a half of bondo to Get it perfect
Also don't just rely on bday money I've spent over $2000 on JT FingerBoards

The reason people are being negative is that there is a lot of kids who thinks they can just slap 5 pieces of veneer together in some mold and next morning they will be the new Flatface..

Flatface took 10 years to be where they are today
You cannot rush ever
And tbh everybody's how to make a deck is different come up with your own shape and the process you will never get anywhere with somebody else's shape or process because it's been done before.
Take every single comment into consideration negative or positive.

Unless its the basics (5plies,glue,vice,ect,..) don't do what's been done.
And if you don't like the decks or it's not your preference don't make them, make what you like because It you make 50 decks you dont like and nobody else does you have 50 decks you can't use for anything but firewood.
Also look at a lot of the small companies, they make great decks, sell them cheap, dot grow much bigger, still they sell decks and they are happy.
Time and patience is what you need the most of.
