Okay, i just want your opinions. I guess this is more to Those of you who are still in Elementary, Middle, or High School.

Ive talked to a few ppl about this, and i want to get a bigger perspective. Do you find it embarrasing to FB at school?
Ive had a few ppl tell me they would get teased and shit about it. Even had two people tell me to be discreet about it on their facebook, and not to post about it.

I mean, Im a senior in high school now, and I literally do it every day at school like since 6th grade. It never occured to me it was something to hide as if it were some bizarre sexuality. Maybe it was because I had a table of fb-ers in 9th grade lunch, but I didnt before that, and i dont now.

I get a variety of responses. just today a girl walked up to me "whoa, that is sick! I wish I could do that!"
sometimes i get stares lol, but over all people dig that shit!

So whats your opinion? do you not give a fuck? or do you try and hide your hobby like a dirty little secret?

I do it in every class, but on my paper one that I made that has a squirtle on it so it makes less noise, it's kind of off balance because I rushed it but the kicks and concave are super nice. But anyway, everyone I know is fine with it and to those who say shit, fuck 'em. I do it in math, la, science, tech ed. As long as I'm actually paying attention then none of my teachers care. A lot of people even ask me to make some for them haha.

Well when I attended High School (I'm in independent Studies now) I was the trendsetter you could say. I would fingerboard in almost everyclass and by 9th grade it was the "thing". TechDecks yes! Every Wednesday 15 minutes out of every class was designated to techdecks and chillin'.

Then of course it faded away but I still did it hardcore and I guess it was just my thing. Sittin' in biology seshing a rail while being taught about plants, switching out setups in math, seshing books in history. Fingerboarding is what got me through high-school and I still do it in independent studies but I really have to work there because I am going through school 2x's faster-paced than the average student.

But I would always do it and most people didn't really mind and a few kids around here still do it but they all have forgiven's with td parts.

such a raw answer. its so true. its made all my classes easy to sit through. so true.

im homeschooled soooo yea haha.. but i get picked on when im snowboarding and i bring it with or whatever..i dont really care, people think its cool most of the time

yeh people at school have seen my videos too, they think it's really cool, but the noise is annoying. A lot of them don't understand how it's fun to do it, as there is no risk to it, so i explain why it's fun.

people think its gay at my school lul only 1 of my friends thinks its cool (I properly skate with him alot) but he can only do 3 shuvs on a fingerboard and he's too impatient to learn it but he thinks its cool.

All my friends don't mind it, all the chavs thinks it's gay. My class have got used to it now.
In Dt I always bring a fingerboard so that I can play skate with my friend Connor.

Yeah there's like a table of year 7s that 'tech-deck' everytime in the morning. None of them know I do it or anything. I used to fingerboard in school, no one really cared, even chavs thought It was cool... yeah I was surprised. I stopped at the risk of losing one of my boards... I'm super paranoid about stuff like that. Basically EVERYONE knows I fingerboard, and have seen my videos... All of year 9, a couple of year 10s, and a handful of year 11s know I do it. They just all think It's "tech-decks", but cool...

Place I live is a residential... "old people" area. Super chilled, all the neighbors know about my hobby, ahah. (and not cause I wake them up at 3am...)

There's not many gangs around this area, but outskirts of town, then yeah. They probably don't give a flying fduck.

lol same thing . Iam in his school and same forum.

Everyone at school thinks it's cool, we have alot of people who use tech decks, however I wouldn't take my close up to school.

I only do it with people like Harry or Tom C, I show my dads work friends, and relatives of course, they think its amazing how its captured my mind.

But apart from that, I never really feel that I need it at school, because one of the only things it will bring is just attention. I hate being at the center of attention. Sometimes I feel the urge to bring in a setup, so I have a school setup which has wides and my Brandon Roberts on, a good setup which I can sesh if I've done something wrong and have to sit in the library.

I don't mind the subject coming up in front of all my friends/boys in my year because they're not really to bothered by it. The ones which think its "ghey" are just the faggots. I don't mind the faggots because they're physically and mentally incapable of doing anything (this is far too advance for them), so I just laugh.

Next year for me is going to be a big change. I won't be able to do this as much, like at all. So I can't progress. Chatting with friends isn't allowed (like skype, tiny chat, slows down servers apparently). So I'll miss having extremely lazy weekends, chatting to friends, making videos etc.

But yeah, fingerboarding is gay. Haha.

i don't know, personally i don't care, but i usually just put a techdeck in my pocket or something. i always watch videos and go on forums when i have computer access, people don't care.
