what do you guys think about finger boarding in standard definition? i just sold my hd camera to buy a dvx. i don't really know what the deal on standard def in finger boarding is. what do u guys think?

cameras are cameras, buying a vx is a poor choice due to parts and its a pain in the ass with cleaning heads constantly but its whatever. theyre equally as cool i guess.

bought a dvx not vx and u don't have to clean the heads unless u use different tapes all the time but yeah thx for ur input i guess ur right camera are cameras

just referring to vx's because 90% of fbers only think of vx's when they hear the term "SD" lol but dvx's produce a nice quality video so yeah, just dont oversaturate your footage.

sd footage is sick but so inconvenient. Hd has a different feel and is still sick but alot easier to filma and edit etc

Typically when it comes to fingerboarding, hd>sd. The details are smaller, a higher resolution is required.
Yeah I'm a die hard SD nut, I love filming skating/scootering/snowboarding with a dvx or a GL or VX more than anything, but unless you have really fresh heads SD fingerboard clips can be dirty and hard to tell whats going on.
