Hope the rant was worth it... And that's another potential customer lost. Maybe for your next one, how about making some generalised, stereotype driven comments about race, gender, creed or sexual orientation and then you can wrap it up in one post.

I do the same. But if more people posted this place would be way more "poppin'" than it has been recently. It sucks most people stick to Instagram

it doesn't suck, the only thing that sucks is how the online community isn't how it used to be. Instagram has taken over and forums are slowly dying out in general i believe. I would much rather be here than on instagram and nothing will ever compare to the ffi days

I didn't even know fingerboard one was big on Instagram until I just checked it out. If only all those people would come here. I'd much rather be on a forum that Instagram

I see a lot of people mention the FFI forum...it sounds like this was before I got into fingerboarding. What happened to that forum? It looks like it's still open

its still there but on one uses it anymore. It was like the era before this era of fingerboarding.

Agreed. I look at this forum a few times a day but since people rarely post new discussions, I rarely post too. It's a vicious cycle

only care about expensive stuff, fbing is about fun you can have the same fun with a tech deck and with a berlinwood complete and the most expensive camera ever

Flame wars always seem to get activity on here. Also not to mention they're hilarious before they die.

I'm with Axel and Jay on this... If there's something you don't like and you can influence, then it's always more compelling to do something about it rather than simply complain. Brands like Weca and KapitalKrete are both great examples of companies who I think make the FB scene so great, and while it's always attractive to reminisce about the past, the present feels pretty cool too.

What I really dislike about fingerboarding is that I don't know any fingerboarder in "real life". I'm too afraid to show it to anyone. My friends would probably say I'm retarded, they're not into skateboarding either so it might be even more difficult. They'd say I'm not 10 years old.
