| Anyone know any companies that make 40mm (wide) foam tape? Some of my Brutal decks are like 38mm wide and I am having trouble finding grip to suit them...

| Anyone still use 29mm decks? I recently downsized from 33mm to 32 and loved the change. I've been thinking about going even skinnier and Mike Schneider's new video with a 29 has gotten me thinking about it even more. |

| Yeah, my first wooden set up was a 30mm 4C deck. I only used that for about 3 weeks before I upgraded to a G14. So I have never really used anything skinnier than a 32 for a significant amount of time. I'm thinking it might be kind of fun to try 29 and the style in "older" fingerboard videos is so much nicer.
Problem is I would also have to buy 29mm trucks though |

| Nope, prefer 32 mm. Gives me better board control. |

| Hmm, interesting topic...I have been debating going 'down a size' recently also (- though I am yet to see this 29mm 'Mike' vid). My current deck is JUST under 34mm and I find it DAMN hard to 360 flip on (-instead a nice spin the board flips like crazy and barely pops at all)??? Have NO idea why this is happening as it was one of the first tricks I learnt and I can do them perfectly 10 out of 10 on cheap, plastic Tech Decks??? So I am thinking it might be due to the width (or possibly length) of my current board???
On that note, does anyone else have issues with particular tricks on particular decks sizes/shapes?

| ^^^yes, some of my tricks (tre and sw tre for example) are much easier for me on a deck with little to no concave and longer length. But I cant switch heel on a deck with low concave |

| 32.5 is my butter zone, I find it perfect... In saying that 30mm decks are definitely fun, they flip fast and everything just seems so quick and sharp |

| My first wooden board was 4cfb, a 30mm deck. Now i actually make my own boards... my fingers finding a little bit weird on wider decks. I think my comfortable width is between 29-30mm. Still figuring and maybe shorter wheel base is better suited for me too. |

| Is there any other distribution company in the United States besides Flatface & BRR? I'm looking to order a couple hundred dollars in product but I don't want to order from the well-known companies despite their high shipping costs. Let me know!

| @jimydave: for shipping to the US Flatface would more than likely be the fastest place to buy Oaks. Not to sure about direct shipping times for Oaks to the US but I am guessing at least 2-3 weeks as they take 3-5 weeks to get to Australia. - Jono |

I just think their prices are way too expensive for shipping. I ordered a pair of BRR Trucks, Y Trucks, 2 Pairs of Oaks and a Berlinwood from FBS in Germany, Katha charged me $6.00 for shipping and the same products from Flatface would cost me $24.00 in shipping. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me. |
