| Yeah, I know the majority of you don't care about Tech Deck so feel free to ignore this thread. It should benefit you since all the TD discussion can be put in 1 thread than spread over many. So what's new? Shop board collab seriesThese Tech Deck boards with skate shop graphics will be given away at the stores themselves. Here is a list of dates for the tour in case you're interested: July 10th - Sixth Avenue Skatepark - Nashville, TN July 15th - Progressive Skatepark - Atlanta, GA July 15th - Reign Skate - Philadelphia, PA July 16th - Southside Skatepark - Houston, TX July 16th - KCDC - New York, NY July 23rd - Escapist Skateshop - Kansas City, MO July 24th - Skatecity Skatepark - Las Vegas, NV July 24th - 303 Boards - Denver, CO July 26th - Skatelab Skatepark - Simi Valley, CA August 3rd - Subsect Skateshop - Des Moines, IA (source: Techdeck.com) Wood Sk8 ParksThey're now making their own wooden ramps. There's a funbox and a miniramp. They should be retailing at $30 each. No idea when. Rail looks dodgy in that last pic. (source: Techdeck.com) Transforming parkChristian Hosoi visited the TD offices and his kids got some unreleased TD stuff. Here is a pic of the transforming park. No idea when it's out. (source: FFI) Wood Concave Foam Grip boards arrive at stores?I've been wondering when these and the normal foam grip TDs would hit stores. I noticed a couple on eBay earlier. I've not seen a picture of this one before: (source: eBay) |

| I'd say america gets things alot quicker than uk and Ireland. I'd prefer to get one in a shop than buy online.. Don't know why |

| I'm hopefully getting one of the 303 Boards decks from this kid I know, pretty cool. I'll also be getting the mini ramp and a wooden concave deck when they come out. I tried the mini ramp at the Denver tour stop, it was really fun and well-made. |

What? Why? They are bad. They really are. They don't support the scene at all. They do make excellent products for beginners. Whatever. Im going to sleep now. Bye. |

What? Why? They are bad. They really are. They don't support the scene at all. They do make excellent products for beginners. Whatever. Im going to sleep now. Bye. Well, actually they do. They've sponsored the Fast Fingers events Organised online contests for the US with product and cash prizes Proper contests with a tour around US with wood parks open to people with any fingerboard product which also has prizes and giveaways Invited a lot of professional fingerboarders to their office to session and give feedback on the stuff They participate in online communities - they've got 2 guys on FFI and they also have their own TD forums (which is bad now but you can't deny it wasn't useful back in the day), they do giveaways on FFI too. Feedback has evidentally gone directly to product design since they're now selling wooden decks with foam tape and wood ramps. Sure, they could do a lot more. Especially international events. I'd also love to see a return of the "Sites that grind" feature. A direct Q&A session would also be good for public relations. |

| If they could make wooden deck's for the same price as plastic, just teeeny bit smaller holes for the wheels. abit more grown up graphics. Then you have something which supports our scene, then some little knob wod cant say, OOOOOOOOO mike schnieder give me a wooden fingerboard because i cant afford one and only afford TD's. THATS WHEN EVERYTHING WILL START TO GET BETTER. Just get rid of the plastic one's and we are finished and can move on to a better ERA for fingerboarding. But yeah TD is tooo dumb enough to realise :/

| To be honest, this thing looks pretty horrible to skate and do actual tricks on. It looks like it's marketed towards kids that just ride them and don't do any real tricks on. This feature is nice though. This would be amazing if it was made out of wood instead of plastic, with metal on the rail and quarterpipe coping and if they either removed those sides on that bridge thing or replaced it with a rail in the middle like a Mike S ramp. |
