| To order from Swat.cz, translate their website to English/your native language. Email them in English and tell them the products you want to order. They will likely quote you a price in CZK, although they also quoted me with EUR first, probably assuming the UK uses Euros when it doesn't. They will give you their email address for their Paypal account to pay to. - -Fearless- wrote:
- Hi there everybody.
Just recently got into Fingerboarding with my son. Starting with Tech Decks and then cheap setups from Broken Knuckle ,i bought a berlinwood starter set for my son and a berlinwood wide pro set for myself, but I would like to try a Blosom deck.
Do they do a wide version, as I have 32mm brr trucks. And if so how do I go about getting one.
Thanks in advance.
Fearless Blosom decks are at a standard width of 30.5mm. He has generally decided against making custom decks although there are some rare custom ones that were not sold but given to people. Blosom is on this forum so it wouldn't hurt to ask him directly; he might even respond to this thread. I still think it is unlikely that he will make a 32mm deck though. As 30.5mm is exactly in the middle of 2 standard sizes of trucks (29 and 32mm), you could probably use the 32mm trucks. Another great idea is to purchase 29mm Blackriver truck hangers for your trucks and just switch the 32mm hangers with the 29mm hangers. Grab 2 of these: https://www.blackriver-shop.com/fingerboarding/tuning-sets/blackriver-trucks-first-aid-single-hanger.htmlI should also add that other great 29mm trucks are Close Up G4 trucks and Ytrucks X3. You could also just purchase some significantly cheaper Chinese 29mm wide trucks. Feel free to ask any more questions, it's great to have new people in fingerboarding! |

| Thanks for the promt reply Xi. I found a nice looking Redemption 32mm black deck, but I would like to support a UK company now I know they are out there. Hopefully I can get a custom Blosom or get some more brr trucks to fit the 30.5 size.
Thanks again Fearless |

If you like your trucks looser, get riptape. (riptape can me made tight_ If you like your trucks STUPID tight, get FF teflon. Also, the FF ones get flattened after a while, and pretty much become useless. I think Riptape is a bunch better. |

| love the teflons, but useless if you dont plan on having trucks tight as shit. and yeah as tyler said they do get flattened so get at least three sets.
also to lucas: the more you practice, the less you will have to bring your board back for pop and momentum. sooner or later you can just do perfect rolling ollies with no windup

I've tried to lower the end of the board till it almost touches the surface again and then poping but it doesn't feel right. 2 things come into play when you're landing into manual and trying to do a trick out of it. 1) Are you landing into the manual in the proper finger position to do the trick you want to do out. and 2) How well can you do the trick you want to do out of the manual. It sounds like you can do an ollie just fine, but you're probably landing with your fingers in some weird spots to try to pop it back out. Try setting your fingers into ollie position and then just lift the nose into a manual, then try popping out. Hope this helps a bit. |

| Okay now I could do some ollies and one lucky kickflip out of a manual but I found another problem: I get too little pop since the board is in an angle. Should I lower the nose till it almost touches the ground before poping? |

I wouldn't focus on lowering the board so much. I would focus on just learning to compensate and just practice doing the ollie with the board in manual. It will help you in the long run. Just try to pop it a little harder and drag your fingers abit faster. |
