| i used buy it now on a fingerboard complete on ebay. was 45 with 5 shipping. i payed imediately with paypal the 50 for it.
two days later i notice my payment has been refunded to me by the seller.
i want the trucks and wheels bad off this deck. i believe they are clear substance dual bearing wheels... and i was stoked to win the auction.
but now this happens. what do i do ?
i already emailed the seller asking why my payment was refunded - and if it was an accident - and let them know i wish to purchace the auction still.
awating their reply - and advice on what to do |

| I know alot of people go crazy about them, but how good are oaks? Because I have also heard alot of bad stuff about them also. Oaks or centralized dual bearing flatface wheels? Also, i know oaks are cheaper, but cost is not an issue. |

| oaks rule.
sure they are a little bumpy compared to machined wheels, but the realism is unmatched.
i cant ride other wheels now. all wheels just feel 'plastic' and well....cheap i guess?
you either love or hate them i guess. marmite.
the first gen of oaks had many problems...mainly the shape was quite wonky, and the wheel would keep falling off the bearing, but the new RVs are good. they also get better with age. you can ride them anywhere also.
did i mention they look sick too? |

| Wasn't the original question about tuning? haha. I don't think you can put BRR tuning on Ytrucks. The Torx kingpin is too thick to fit through the hole in the bushing. Perhaps you could try putting a BRR baseplate with a Ytrucks hanger? lol dumb suggestion, but maybe it WOULD be the best of both worlds. Hope this helped. |
