believe it or not Xbox is sold at cost price or when first realise they were making losses on each console sold.. Microsoft xbox revenue's are made from selling game rights to companies and xbox live etc.

| Gilly, as to making fingerboards, the price is all in the hours spent making them.......sure their are a few companies who mass produce them and imo the prices should be cheaper not more expensive.
companies like myself, have to do everything by hand and get decks to the same (if not better quality standards of the mass produced companies)
so i put in maybe 3/4 times as many man hours and have to sell them for less than the machine made decks.
its a cruel world.
the companies that survive today are the ones in it for the love.
when i think of the time and effort/experience that goes into making one of my decks, the end price seems cheap imo. i do it because i love it. not because im making lots of money because i dont. |

| all you will see in a retail environment is the prices your store sells consoles for not how much they cost to produce and sell them at to your store... (seriously up until 2010 not sure 100% on dates they were making a loss on each unit sold look it up) any way like i said befor IT DOESNT MATTER ................... LOL..... |

black river trucks have a strange shaped hanger where it meets the axle. its kind of pointy like a funnel if you will. so normal wheels will have teh bearing hole on the back side of the wheel contact the truck - and drasticly slow down or even stop the wheels movment as you use your fingerboard. a black river eddition wheel has this effect designed in to the wheel so that no part of the wheel will contact the black river truck hanger - only the bearing inside will touch. so it will spin smoothly and work wonderfully on a black river truck. on a normal china wide truck - a black river wheel will go on and spin usualy - but is not designed to be optimal that way - and the china truck hangar will eventually wear away at the wheel until it breaks down enough to become damaged or just start slipping the bearing out = or going slowly. black river trucks are designed to work with single bearing wheels. dual bearing wheels usualy do not fit on them and allow enough room on the axle for the nut to thread on all the way to the threadlock part of it to stay put. so for using a dual bearing wheel on a black river truck is usualy done by using a super glue to hold the wheel nuts on. y trucks ( trucks designed by yellowood ) have tons of space on the axles for single or dual bearing wheels - i have a set - and have flat face g7 wheels on them with a single micro washer from nocomply to make the wheels stick out wider by a tiny bit. even with the washer - the lock nuts still thread on the axle enough to fully tighten and stay put. - y trucks are currently only avalable in 29/30 mm wide form - but are being processed now to have a 32mm design being currently under way. black river eddition wheels will work on y trucks / and black river trucks = i have yet to see if they function properly on woody wood fcker trucks - as they are not widely distributed yet |

| because you are from America, I think it is better for you to order the TD longboard somewhere as delivery for fingersized would be pretty expensive |

| the TD trucks are 32mm wide and I've heard the axle/nut sticks out a bit. It wouldn't be awkwardly wide would it? Anyone use the longboard trucks on a 31mm deck ? |
