try second hand shops and all that stuff. Got lots of cheap games here from there.

I have 2 sets of bearing wheels. should i buy a new deck and china trucks to make a new setup or just leave that one set alone? And i'm considering making that new setup my outdoor setup, should I go with plastic or polyurethane wheels?

How does one go about making the round coping flush against a box? Also the angled one.

How long does it take for Ytrucks to ship to the US?

Also, are there any general problems with Ytrucks? For example, wheels getting stuck on the axle, etc.

I just want to research it before I decide to purchase haha...

Both plastic and polyurethane wheels are fine, I prefer polyurethane it will ride smoother on outdoor rough surfaces.

I saw you ask this on the chat but I'm not an expert on that kinda stuff. For round coping, I think you just need to cut a rectangular chunk out of the edge of the box and glue in the coping. I'm pretty sure that's what BRR does on their ramps. Tech Deck actually manage to cut a cylindrical shape out of the edge that will fit the coping better but I don't think this would be easy to do.

I had some Nollie tape before (part of a prize pack at Little Wheels 2). It was just like synthetic fur. After using it, it was like sweaty synthetic fur. I didn't like it. I think they changed their tape though.

Not sure on the shipping although I think Ytrucks do ship in batches so they might not ship straight away when you purchase them. They use registered mail though.

I personally haven't encountered or heard of any problems with Ys that I would worry about. The earlier models were apparently a bit heavy. There is a minor issue of the Torx screws that come with Ytrucks being a bit fiddly although you can use any screws on the trucks.

There is also the controversy about the fallout between Ytrucks/Yellowood and Oak. It has left a few people skeptical of their operations but it has nothing to do with the quality of the products.

Also, there should be wider Ytrucks in development now. If you can't spend much money on fingerboard stuff but would prefer wider Ys, maybe it's better to wait for those. Ignore this if you just want the normal ones or if you can spend a lot on fb stuff.

That is a No-No, my friend, as it will trip the baseplates...

When i ordered my Ytrucks i had them 3-4 days later. So i would say their shipping is pretty fast.

I had a problem though. The Ytrucks are made with threaded holes, but on 3 out of 4 baseplates that i got, the threads weren't drilled at an 90 degree angle. I messaged Cristophe about it and he replaced the baseplates very quickly, and since he knows about this issue now, it shouldn't be a problem.

A thing i find weird about the design of the Ytrucks is that the non-threaded part of the axle is too short for dual bearing wheels and too long for single. So if you tighten the nut completely it will be too tight for duals, while you will have to use washers when using single bearing wheels.

Again, it's not a big issue since they come with locknuts.

The best thing to use is a table router, set the height and depth to the same measurement as the diameter of your round coping and it should sit nicely inside. Or if you want it sticking up a little bit, set the height a little bit lower than the diameter of the coping!

Thanks Xi for your informed post. How wide are the current Ytrucks at the moment?

Mikkel, thanks for your input too! Especially about the axle part. Glad to know Cristophe is fast on helping customers too

And thanks Danny too. I've asked Brian about this and he's given me similar answers happy

But thanks for taking the time to answer my questions haha

Yeah I have been using a piece of rip for a while now. Does not want to get better at the moment. Thanks for the suggestions anyway. Will try rubbing a coin on it.
