| Pick your favorite tape from the poll above or reply with one I missed that you prefer. As this is meant to be helpful for newer fingerboarders, please try and keep your selections to tapes that are currently available. I stuck with the mainstream options although there are many great tapes from smaller companies that I'm sure will pop up in the replies  *Found a previous topic that's a year old called "Favorite Grip", but not a poll, and some of people's choices were for tape that no longer exist. |

| Would have said FBS cause of it's durability. After a while it gets too grippy though, so rip tape is the best in my book  |

| It was a tough call for me but Black Jesus/Reaction tape has to be the best tape I've ever used. Love how thick it is and how grippy it is from the start. Once I'm out I'm going to force myself to use skate/china tape. |

| I really enjoy Peoples Republic "Chape" foam tape. It almost feels wet once you break it in and it is super grippy and gooey. I do not like RipTape at all I think it is too stiff. Maybe I just haven't broken it in good enough yet. I ordered a bunch of Creamy Goo too but haven't gotten a chance to put it on a deck yet, but it feels really good  |

| Idk, the one sheet of Ace 3 I had came on a deck and it felt like china. As in, really dry and not especially grippy.
I'd say slim and catchy is some of my favorites.
FBS is great too, but it's suuuuper annoying to break in. |
