| has anyone tried to replace the king pin on TDLB trucks with the Ytruck king pin?
looks like it could work. I mean just use the hole that is there from the old king pin and drill it out to the minor diameter of the tread of the Yking pin thread. then the Ybolt / king pin should make its own threads........
im to scared to try since I only have one set of TDLBs

I done it with regular Allen key kingpins, didn't have to drill and worked very well, I'd go for it |

| So my oaks are ancient lol and starting not to role to great, and I would never try to take the bearings out to clean them, so any tips on how I can make these bad boys roll smooth again without using something thats gunna eat away at my wheels? |

Depends on the setup. If it's a reeeally good setup that I know I won't be changing for a while, I keep the screws under the tape. |

citrus cleaner and then speed cream or something like that might work, but no guarantee. i've chanced the bearings in a set of Oaks... lots of material came out with the bearings, lol. but surprisingly they still work fine. |

| I have a Catfishbbq old mold a a weca from one of the more recent stocks and personally i like the old mold catfish more. But if you like a little bit longer decks (98mm)with low concave then the Weca is the way to go |
