@Uncle Brigamini: spot lamps work GREAT!!! Most hardware store will carry these happy
Just get one or two 'high wattage' ones and you should be more than fine very happy

Thanks Jono! Okay, another question...I may get laughed at for this one, but if I ever considered making decks, aside from the mold/veneer/glue etc...the only pieces of heavy machinery I need are a drill press and belt sander? It seems like it would pretty fun to mess around and make my own decks

Belt sander is a good start... don't really need a drill press (hand held will do fine). I would pick up a cheap vise helps apply even pressure when pressing the deck, however as Eddie showed above, a few decent hand clamps will do the trick.

Ohh nice! That makes it a little cheaper to start out. As far as mold (this is partly influenced by the recent thread), do you think it's worth it to buy a gator mold just as I'm learning the process and (hopefully) improving? Are there any other okay cheap molds out there?

Where did you get the veneer, and dyes if you dyed it yourself. I want to buy veneer online for a good deal.

@Casin0 Many people find it cheaper. But this has always been great quality wood for me, and quick delivery.

i just get veneer off ebay an dye it with food colouring, the brand that is on the picture is really cheap off the internet an works way better than the food colouring you get in supermarkets

I ordered a set, was wondering if they are a bit softer than a reg wheel? Like oaks or like flatface?
