| Thanks Jono! Okay, another question...I may get laughed at for this one, but if I ever considered making decks, aside from the mold/veneer/glue etc...the only pieces of heavy machinery I need are a drill press and belt sander? It seems like it would pretty fun to mess around and make my own decks |

| when i first started making decks for fun i just used this set up was plenty good enough to mess around with and make some DIY decks for my mates |

| Belt sander is a good start... don't really need a drill press (hand held will do fine). I would pick up a cheap vise helps apply even pressure when pressing the deck, however as Eddie showed above, a few decent hand clamps will do the trick. |

| Ohh nice! That makes it a little cheaper to start out. As far as mold (this is partly influenced by the recent thread), do you think it's worth it to buy a gator mold just as I'm learning the process and (hopefully) improving? Are there any other okay cheap molds out there? |

Not sure about that? but you can use thicker screws... calculator (Dollar store) screws should work for you.. ytruck screws also... |
