| Has anyone used Oak wheels on granite tile? My FF wheels are already pretty grippy on granite so I am wondering what Oaks would feel like on that surface. I'm thinking of trying a set of Oaks but I don't want them to be to the point where they're excessively grippy on my parks surface |

You'll be able to powerslide and what not, but if you pivot a little coming out of a trick you will definitely notice it. Kinda cool, but i'm not a fan personally |

Tbh in my opinion oaks work the worst on granite as its so smooth and oaks are so grippy. Oaks work best on regular desks and stuff and wood and possibly concrete. Some oaks are also like a bit unevenly shaped so when you ride them on such a smooth surface they will almost wobble a bit. |

I might still get them for when I ride on other surfaces but I'm not sure yet. Everyone raves about Oaks so I'm really interested in seeing what they're all about |

| I use oak's on any surface pretty easily, it's just a matter of preference and getting used to it. If you want oak's that don't grip as much, get colored ones |

| when I first got this granite it was insanely grippy...as I've used it and "worn it in" it's definitely not as grippy but still more than the plywood I used to use.
Are colored Oaks really less grippy than white ones? |

| Weird... I find wood and concrete super grippy... Good luck with whichever you choose.. My white oaks have more grip than my reds.. but reds are older... ? lol.. |

Use double sided tape I've always made my own and they've been fine EDIT: If not, go to http://www.weca.design/product/boardrails |

| @DoubleDigitsI'll add your access now In response to your friends account, the forum provider must have automatically set the sign up permissions to needing approval because none of us admins knew about it until recently. We've sorted the issue so all he needs to do is sign up again Everyone else- BST applications need doing, I've said that I'll get round to it when I have time. Working full time means that I don't have hours upon end to dedicate to FBHQ. Although the application process would be a whole lot quicker if people actually read the rules. It takes a lot of time to sift through applications when half of them haven't even glanced at the rules. As admins and mods we're active a lot, just don't post much. If you need anything you can tag any of us @"(username)" or PM us. Getting pissy in a thread doesn't help anything.

| Anyone out there rocking loose trucks come across this issue?? I've bent kingpins before, but I've never broken a hanger like this... It was difficult to get a good shot, the hanger broke off where it sits in the pivot cup.. Huge bummer, this set wasn't even that old. The small piece laying under the wheel is what broke off. Anyone know if this is caused by trucks being too loose? I didn't think I rode that loose... Or is this just a weak spot on the hanger? I own 5 sets of ytrucks and haven't come across this before. |

| I like how we all ignore the fact that Cory's hanger broke. I'd say you just happened to get a hanger with a weak spot and it shouldn't have been caused by your loose trucks otherwise my sets would of been broken already. |
